Please pray for Arie & Noemí this weekend as they meet with leaders of church plant in Puerto Morelos.

You Can Only Imagine

A New Discipleship Opportunity In Mexico

A Story 27 Years in the Making

I want to introduce our Disciple Daily community to two ministries doing remarkable work in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, just south of Cancún. All Peoples Church has a simple but powerful mission statement: “Ser Transformado. Ser Real. Llevarlo al Mundo.” In English, “Be Transformed. Be Real. Take It to the World.” These aren't just words on a wall. They describe a church determined to make a difference beyond its four walls. Their desire is to see lives transformed by Jesus and that transformation expressed through acts of love and service. One beautiful expression of this mission is Noah's Ark Project, led by Pastor Andres Paco and his wife, Dr. Abí Ramirez. Their vision includes foster care, education, and medical services for vulnerable and exploited children and families. Together, these ministries are demonstrating the love of Jesus in ways people can see and experience.
Over the past several months, we've had two opportunities to visit these ministries and get acquainted with their people and mission. Keith and Alice visited a couple of months ago, and Noemí and I were there this past weekend. We were encouraged by a church that understands its mission doesn't end when Sunday worship is over. Noah's Ark provides a practical way for that commitment to become action, where good deeds open doors for meaningful relationships.
But here's where the story gets really interesting! In 1999, Keith met a young Peruvian boy named John Michael while on a mission trip to Peru. Yes, THAT John Michael! We all know him! Today, John Michael is involved with an orphanage in Peru that is serving as a model for the work envisioned in Puerto Morelos. Think about that! A friendship beginning decades ago may now help shape a ministry in another country. What a reminder that the relationships we invest in today may bear fruit in ways we cannot yet imagine!
So, where might Disciple Daily fit into this unfolding story? We believe there may be an opportunity to come alongside these ministries to train disciple-making leaders using our Storyline Discipleship Strategy.

All Peoples Church already understands that following Jesus is not simply about what we know, but how we live. Our collaboration could provide a common biblical foundation, helping pastors, volunteers, parents, and young people understand the Bible's Big Story and their place in it. Imagine leaders equipping others who then train still others, multiplying disciples throughout these ministries and their communities.

* All Peoples Church provides the vision.
* Noah’s Ark puts that vision into action.
* Disciple Daily help equip transformational leaders to reproduce Jesus’ life in others.

Three complementary efforts united around one missional purpose, t make more disciples of Jesus.
Now, we are asking our Disciple Daily family to pray with us! Ask the Lord to give us wisdom about our next steps, unity among ministry leaders, and open doors for training disciple-makers. Pray especially for the children and families whose lives could be changed for generations. Pray that acts of compassion will lead to gospel conversations, growing faith, and new disciples who make disciples. And pray that we will recognize when it's time to move forward.

Twenty-five years ago, none of us could have imagined where Keith’s discipling of John Michael  might lead. What might the next 25 years look like if a new generation of disciple-makers is raised up through this work?

Would you begin praying with us today?

Blessings!
Arlie
