God has chosen Israel as the cosmic focal point of His eternal plan to reclaim His creation from the stranglehold of Satan. God is a Zionist, not becasue of Israel's righteousness, but becasue of His own. The prophets were Zionists. Jesus is a Zionist. A consistent literal reading of the Bible from beginning to end reveals that God has chosen Israel, both the land and the people, as the vehicle through which relationship with Him is offered to the entire world.
