God’s Story Has a Calendar
What the Jewish Feasts reveal
to followers of Jesus today.
Why Celebrate the Old Testament Feasts?
You might be thinking, “We’re not Jewish—so why would we celebrate these feasts?” The answer is simple: because they’re part of God’s story. These are not man-made holidays—they are holy, appointed times that God gave to His people as a rhythm of remembrance and hope. The Fall Feasts are stocked full of meaning—both looking back at God’s faithfulness and looking forward with anticipation at what’s still to come.
God designed these celebrations not just to honor Him, but to teach the next generation. He gave us a pattern that makes storytelling natural—celebrations that spark curiosity and invite kids (and adults) to ask, “Why do we do this?” It’s discipleship built into the calendar.
At Disciple Daily, we believe Jesus fulfills these feasts—and that understanding them helps us know Him better.
