Father's Walk
Starts Monday, October 5, 2026
Read the entire Bible...
Throughout Scripture, faithful men called God's people back the public reading/hearing of His Word.
God's people have always been strengthened when men stand together to read and hear His Word in community. This is what Father's Walk is about.
- every day,
- with men from all around the world..
- for one entire year.
Throughout Scripture, faithful men called God's people back the public reading/hearing of His Word.
- Moses commanded Israel to gather so that men, women, and children could hear the Scriptures together (Deut. 31:9–13).
- Joshua read God's Word before the entire nation (Joshua 8:34–35).
- Josiah gathered the people and read the Book of the Covenant, sparking national repentance and renewal (2 Kings 23:1–3).
- Ezra opened the Scriptures before thousands, and an entire community was changed (Nehemiah 8).
- Paul later told Timothy, "Devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture (1 Timothy 4:13).
God's people have always been strengthened when men stand together to read and hear His Word in community. This is what Father's Walk is about.
Do Something Hard!
We live in a world that makes almost everything easier. Father's Walk isn't supposed to be easy.
But men can do hard things—especially when they don't do them alone.
On Monday, October 5th, men around the world will open the Disciple Daily app and begin reading Genesis. That Monday marks the week of reading Bereshit—"In the beginning—the opening portion of the annual Jewish Torah-reading cycle known as the Parashot. We will begin where God's story begins. Every day we will keep on walking, together. Genesis to Revelation.
One story.
One year.
Before the news.
Before social media.
Before work.
Before anyone starts asking you to for something.
Let God speak first.
- It requires getting up when you would rather sleep.
- It requires opening the Bible when your phone is calling your name.
- It requires muscling through Leviticus, Chronicles, and the Prophets when you don't understand.
- It requires discipline.
But men can do hard things—especially when they don't do them alone.

We are looking for 1,000 dedicated men.
Not 1,000 Bible scholars.
Not 1,000 pastors.
Men who will make a commitment and keep it.
Men who want their sons and daughters to see what disciplined devotion to God looks like.
Men who want to know the whole story of the Bible well enough to live it—and eventually tell it to someone else.
Men who know this will cost them something.
1,000 men who will touch the Word before the world touches them.
