Introducing Sydney

Hello!

My name is Sydney Gunn. I am a small-town girl from Cody, Wyoming, who is a lover of Jesus, all things outdoors (especially a good round of golf), and spending time with friends I call family!

I graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2020 with a degree in Exercise Science and a Masters in Sports Management. While I grew up knowing about Jesus, it wasn’t until college that I fully learned what it looked like to walk with the Lord each day.

During college, I was heavily involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After graduating, the Lord put on my heart a deep desire to share FCA with the hometown I grew up in. I moved back home and, by God’s grace, was able to start up the ministry that I always wished I had when I was younger. As the Lord would have it, I was also hired to work at a church plant called Outpost Community Church. There, I grew in discipleship, learned more about my gifts, and experienced true community and family.

For the last year, I have been in a season of wondering what God has next as I seek to navigate His will for my life. I learned about The Fellowship program from a mutual friend of Keith and Alice Meyer. As the Lord would have it, He had recently moved my friend from Cody, Wyoming, to New Braunfels and now has brought me here as well! I am excited to take this year to reignite my heart for the Lord and learn the beauty of loving and serving those around me! Join me in seeing what God does in and through this experience!
